Bánh Trôi & The Art of Vietnamese Togetherness
At MIAs, we believe the most meaningful stories are shaped by hand, slowly, thoughtfully.
This Sunday, we invite you to step beyond the dining table and into a quiet ritual that has connected generations of Vietnamese families.
In celebration of Tết Hàn Thực, our chefs will be handcrafting bánh trôi right at the restaurant — delicate glutinous rice balls filled with sweet molasses, gently shaped and released into simmering water, much like small moments of care passed from one generation to the next.
Guests are welcome to join, observe, or simply enjoy the experience as it unfolds.
After the crafting, each guest will be invited to taste these soft, warm “white pearls” — a simple dessert, yet deeply rooted in memory, culture, and togetherness.
A small surprise will be waiting, quietly woven into the experience.
