Children’s Day Special: Live Folk Art & Complimentary Gifts for Kids
At MIAs, we believe the most meaningful traditions are the ones shared across generations — quietly, by hand, and with heart.
This Children’s Day, we invite guests to discover the colorful world of Tò He, one of Hanoi’s most treasured folk arts, through a live artisan performance at the restaurant.
For centuries, Vietnamese craftsmen have shaped simple glutinous rice dough into vibrant figurines of animals, flowers, and mythical characters using only natural colors derived from plants and vegetables. More than a childhood toy, each Tò He carries the spirit of Vietnamese storytelling, craftsmanship, and cultural memory.
Throughout the evening, guests are welcome to pause, observe the artisan at work, and experience a living tradition unfolding by hand in real time.
Families dining at MIAs will also receive a special Children’s Day gift — each child will be gifted a custom-made Tò He figurine crafted specially for them by the artisan.
